sifnos2day.gr is an independent, non-profit digital culture calendar for the island of Sifnos.
It has been online since 2014 and, from the beginning, its main goal has been to collect and present the island’s cultural events in a clear and user-friendly way.
Our primary concern is to inform both locals and visitors about everything that happens in Sifnos around culture: theatre performances, concerts, screenings, talks, exhibitions, activities of local associations and groups, as well as other events connected to the life and character of the island.
Who we are
The website is designed, developed and managed by Lysiteleia Digital, with a love for digital communication and an even greater love for Sifnos.
The project is non-profit; it operates with the aim of giving back to the local community and highlighting the people and initiatives that keep culture alive on the island.

The listing of non-profit cultural events is free of charge.
For certain profit-making activities that are related to the editorial scope of sifnos2day, there is a symbolic fee, which helps cover the website’s maintenance costs so that it can remain as free from ads and distractions as possible.
Why we do it
We believe that culture is not a “luxury”, but one of the most essential ways in which an island like Sifnos expresses its identity.
If through sifnos2day.gr a local or a visitor discovers an event they would not have heard about otherwise, we feel that we have achieved our purpose.
